Obi Cubana, a famous socialite and businessman in Nigeria, has revealed that no one in his family lives past 80 years of age.
According to Obi Cubana, his mother attempted to overcome the curse of generational limitations but unfortunately passed away at the age of 79 before achieving it.
During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwu, Obi Cubana explained that his family organized an extravagant funeral ceremony in honor of their late mother because she was unable to break a generational curse.

“This is the first time I’m admitting that nobody in my family has ever lived to be 80,” he stated. “Sadly, my father passed away at only 66 years old, while both of my grandparents didn’t make it past their late seventies and even my mother fell victim to this pattern.”
My siblings are thriving in their marriages, but our greatest hope was for my mother to defy the family curse.
We had planned an unforgettable celebration worthy of her achievement and even began saving up funds. Sadly, she passed away on December 31 at age 79 after joyfully commemorating her previous year’s milestone at 78.
I mentioned that she made the effort at 79 and a half, so we gathered everything to honor her accomplishment. Despite nearly breaking the curse, which is why we went all out for the funeral.
