Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president, said on Thursday that God is a Nigerian.
God, according to Obasanjo, let Nigeria get away with doing “dumb things.”
He spoke during Musikilu Mojeed, Editor-in-Chief of Premium Timesofficial,’s Abuja launch of The Letterman.
The former president emphasized that Nigeria should take responsibility for its failure to use the natural resources that God had provided.
He did, however, express the hope that Nigeria will not be forgotten by God.
I think God is a Nigerian, Obasanjo added.
I might not agree with Bishop Kukah.
God loves us so deeply that despite all the dumb things we have done,
“I genuinely pray that God’s patience knows no bounds, but if it does, there will come a day when God will declare, “No, I’ve had enough.
“I think it’s important to learn the appropriate lessons. We have everything we require. God has provided for all of our needs; if we are not doing as we ought to, it is not God’s fault; we are to blame.
