Former President Olusegun Obasanjo recently had a private meeting with the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, although the details of the discussion were not publicly disclosed. According to Amb. Okey Emuchay, the Secretary-General of the Igbo socio-cultural organization, the meeting took place at Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu’s residence in Owerri.
Emuchay emphasized that the meeting was significant and productive, and he expressed confidence that the outcomes would soon be evident and appreciated by the Igbo community worldwide.
Additionally, he mentioned that issues of mutual interest were addressed during the meeting, and Chief Obasanjo was reminded of his contributions to ending the civil war.
