Through partnerships with financial institutions, the National Youth Service Corps, or NYSC, has reiterated its commitment to helping corps members who are interested in business with start-up loans.
This was said on Thursday at the 2023 Batch “C” stream II orientation course conclusion ceremony by Mrs. Rifkatu Yakubu, the Bauchi State Coordinator of NYSC.

She said that going into company would help corps members become more independent and enable them to contribute significantly to the economy.
Yakubu also urged the employers of corps members to provide them with appropriate mentoring so that they can fulfil their potential for the advancement of the country.
My sincere wish is that the corps members will work hard to live up to Nigerians’ high standards by advancing and developing our nation.
“To help them realise their business dreams, the NYSC is coordinating with financial institutions and other stakeholders to provide start-up loans,” the spokesperson stated.
Throughout their service year and beyond, Yakubu advised the corps members to never waver from the values of patriotism, diligence, and perseverance instilled throughout the orientation training.
