NUGA President Emeka Ogbu is Dead
The Nigerian Universities Games Association’s (NUGA) president, Mr. Emeka Ogbu, passed away.
On Wednesday in Jos, the association’s acting president, Prof. Mohammed Bawa, revealed this to reporters.

After a brief illness, Ogbu passed away on Monday, according to Bawa.
Ogbu was the Enugu State University of Science and Technology’s (ESUT) director of sports, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
In March 2022, he won the NUGA presidential election.
