The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has altered the take-off of the final two trains from Abuja to Kaduna and vice versa, according to Pascal Nnorli, Manager of the Abuja-Kaduna Train Service (AKTS).
The adjustment of train services, he said, was made to ensure that the trains reached their destinations safely and promptly.
He said that the trains will leave 30 minutes earlier than they had previously.
“The amendment will go into force on Monday, December 12th, 2022,” declared Pascal Nnorli.
He promised that the 2:00 p.m. KA4 train from Rigasa (Kaduna) will now leave Rigasa at 1:30 p.m. Thus instead of 4:07 pm, arrive at Idu (Abuja) at 3:37 pm.
Additionally, Nnorli reaffirmed the company’s dedication to ensuring the constant safety of the people and property on its trains.
