Fatai Osho, the head coach of Akwa United, attributed his team’s failure to defeat Sporting Lagos in their Nigeria Premier Football League match on Sunday to poor finishing.
At the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, the NPFL’s rookie team held the Promise Keepers to a scoreless draw.

Osho’s team had the majority of the game’s possession but was unable to get past the adversary’s defence.
The inability of his strikers to take advantage of the opportunities they created during the game infuriated the rookie tactician.
“The strikers let us down in a game that was almost entirely one-sided. We will work on them since the quality of the attack is concerning, Osho stated following the match.
“We anticipate winning our upcoming match against Enyimba,”
Just one point has been earned by Akwa United in their first two games of the year.
