The head coach of the Abia Warriors, Erasmus Onu, blamed weariness for his team’s loss to Kwara United.
The Ochendo Boys fell to Kwara United 1-0 on Sunday at the Kwara Sports Complex in Ilorin.
The seasoned tactician claimed that the players’ performance suffered as a result of their two-day road trip to an away game.

Onu emphasised that the time has come for the Abia Warriors to negotiate travel plans with airline companies.
Bad roads, according to Onu, “will kill our league.”
The two-day trip from Abia to Ilorin on shoddy roads had a significant impact on the players’ performance.
“I believe it is time for us to have a deal with airlines for away games.”
