Feared bandit chieftain Kachalla Sani Black and two of his sons perished in an ambush by neighborhood vigilantes in the Magama Mai Rake area of Maru Local Government, Zamfara State.

Two AK-47 rifles, a PKT machine gun, and an unknown quantity of cash were found during the operation, which represents a crucial win in the war against banditry.

Commanding an army of more than 150 armed men, Sani Black was infamous for planning bloody raids throughout Northern Zamfara and other states including Niger, Kebbi, and Kaduna.

Sani Black was a legendary criminal who carried out vicious attacks, kidnappings, and sexual assaults, causing havoc in his wake. He was comparable in stature to Bello Turji.

According to Platinumpost, a violent altercation between competing factions resulted in the death of renowned bandit commander Kachalla Tukur Sharme and other outlaws, marking a significant victory over banditry.

During a press event, Kaduna State’s Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs’ Overseeing Commissioner, Samuel Aruwan, made the announcement.
