The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited maintains its previous statement that Dangote Refinery Petrol is supplied to them at a cost of N897 per liter.
On Sunday, exclusively to OBASANJONEWS, Olufemi Soneye, spokesperson for NNPCL revealed this information.
Dangote Group spokesperson, Anthony Chiejina, stated on Sunday that they do not agree with NNPCL’s claim that Dangote Refinery Petrol was sold to them for N898 per litre.

Despite OBASANJONEWS reaching out to NNPCL for a statement on Dangote Refinery’s comment, he maintained that his revelation still stands.
Our position remains consistent that we are purchasing Dangote Refinery Petrol at the rate of N898 per litre.
He informed OBASANJONEWS that there are documents supporting this argument.
The bewilderment ensued subsequent to Dangote Refinery’s commencement of petrol loading on Sunday.
On Sunday, it was confirmed by NNPCL that 70 trucks loaded with Dangote Petrol were owned by the state-owned firm.
