Abridged format adoption for the 2023–24 season has been denied by the Nigeria National League (NNL).
The information is absolutely incorrect, according to the league’s head of media and press, Amar Ignis.
As the NNL clubs continue to get ready for the upcoming season, Ignis encouraged them to ignore the information.
In addition, he promised that clubs and the league board would decide on the start date and schedule of the next season at the meeting of the Annual General Assembly.
In Jos, Plateau State, the AGM is set for Friday, September 29.
There should be attendance from each of the 40 NNL clubs.
