Nnewi forest, hunters find large number of PVCs
A bag filled with Permanent Voter Cards, or PVCs, was found by two hunters in a forest in Nnewi, Anambra State. The hunters’ names have not been released.
At Nigeria’s crucial general election in four days, this will take place.
Tuesday in the town of Akamili in Nnewi, the hunters discovered the bag holding the PVCs in a bush and later brought it to the Authority FM studios, a well-known radio station.
Authority FM’s station manager, Mr. Charles Ede, told DAILY POST that although he was not on duty when the cards were brought, his staff members had informed him of the occurrence.

“At the time the incident occurred, I was not on duty, but one of my staff members welcomed the hunters. His phone number will be sent to you, I promise.
Most of the PVCs were found to belong to locals, according to a video of the PVCs that was taken in the Nnewi radio station’s parking lot and has since become popular online.
Those who hadn’t received their PVCs were asked to visit the FM’s grounds to see if they could locate them by the radio station staff, who provided a brief commentary on the video.
