The health condition of the agitator, leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has been a source of concern as raised by Aloy Ejimakor who is his lead counsel.

According to Ejimakor, Kanu is suffering from shortness of breath, low blood pressure and a state of overall malaise.

He expressed his disappointment that, despite Kanu’s deteriorating health condition, the DSS denied doctors permission to see him.

After a regular meeting between Kanu and his legal counsel at the DSS premises in Abuja, Ejimakor revealed this information.

During our visit with MAZI NNAMDI KANU, Ejimakor reported that he was unwell and experiencing shortness of breath, low blood pressure, and overall feeling ill.

He asked to see his Doctor, so we wrote a letter. However, the DSS denied the Doctor access to #MNK when he arrived today.

The leader of IPOB has been in custody at a DSS facility following his extradition to Nigeria from Kenya.

Priorly, Kanu had expressed his concern about his poor health and eventually, following extensive negotiations between his legal representatives and the DSS officials, he was granted permission to attend to medical treatment.
