Ayo Olorunfemi, the general secretary of the Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government-Owned Companies, was in charge of the demonstration on Friday.

Olorunfemi says that some people who work for the government have gone fifteen years without getting any kind of financial help from the government.
Additionally, he requested that the government shine a spotlight on the agency’s financial situation.
“All we are arguing is that reform must be transparent and unambiguous. Our anxiety must be allayed, and the reform must serve Nigeria as a whole. Any reform that singles out particular people will not be approved.
Consequently, this is a different process. He claimed that they have been attempting to suspend them while we have been on strike.
However, this time, according to Olorunfemi, the industrial action is just intended to actualize a desperately needed reform process.
