The Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMet, has forecasted a mix of sunshine and thunderstorms throughout the country from Monday to Wednesday. NiMet’s weather report, issued in Abuja on Sunday, indicated that Yobe and Borno states would experience sunny and hazy conditions on Monday, with the possibility of thunderstorms in some areas of Kebbi.
The agency mentioned that the Northern regions would have sunny weather with some cloud cover in the morning, while isolated thunderstorms were expected in parts of Bauchi, Taraba, and Kaduna later in the day.
Moving to the North central region, NiMet anticipated sunny skies with a few cloud patches, along with isolated thunderstorms in areas of Niger, Kwara, and Benue during the morning hours.
As the day progresses, isolated thunderstorms were predicted over parts of Plateau, FCT, Benue, Nasarawa, and Kogi.

In the Southern part of the country, NiMet projected cloudy conditions with intervals of sunshine, and isolated thunderstorms were likely in regions such as Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Delta, Edo, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River during the morning hours.
Furthermore, NiMet foresaw isolated thunderstorms in areas of Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra, Abia, Ogun, Imo, Edo, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers, and Bayelsa states later in the day.
