On Saturday, the Super Eagles will face the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny.

Nigeria secured their place in the last 16 with a 1-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau, thanks to an own goal.

The goal came in the 36th minute when Simon’s low cross was turned into the net by defender Opa Sangante.

Cameroon, on the other hand, secured their last-16 place with a dramatic 3-2 win over Gambia. Goalkeeper Ondoa played a crucial role in the victory, making important saves throughout the match.
