Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president in the most recent election, has encouraged the Federal Government to make significant investments in agriculture in an effort to resolve the nation’s continuing food issue.

The comment was made by the former governor of Anambra in a statement released on Monday in honour of World Food Day in 2023.

Obi stated that the nation’s food issue might be resolved if the Federal Government consented to use the fertile land in the country’s northern region for agriculture.
