Professor Gbolahan Bolarin, the chairperson of the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) at the institution, verified the development.

According to Professor Bolarin, her body was found early on Sunday morning after churchgoers tracked down her residence after she vanished during the service.

Some locals claimed that the late varsity teacher’s husband, a professor at the same institution, had departed from this life.

They also said that although she had been living with a female housekeeper until her death, they had fired the girl on Friday.

However, Wasiu Abiodun, the Niger Police Command spokesman, assured that more details regarding the event would be released when available.
