Nigerian student tragically loses their life just one day after arriving in the UK to pursue master’s degree

Saheed Wahab, a Nigerian man, tragically passed away just one day after he arrived in the United Kingdom to pursue his master’s degree at Teesside University.

The news of his death was confirmed by the Nigerians in the UK Community through a statement posted on their official X (formerly Twitter) account.

The statement expressed deep sadness over the loss of Mr. Wahab and mentioned that he died on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

The community extended their condolences to his family and sought permission to make funeral arrangements on their behalf.

They also mentioned that they had been in contact with the coroner regarding the handling of his remains. The funeral service, known as Janazah, has been scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Jamia Masjid Al Madina in Middlesbrough.
