With his popular song “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” Shaboozey, a Nigerian-American singer, has once again set multiple records in the United States.
Chart Data, a music monitoring platform, has officially declared the song as the most streamed track in 2024 within the United States.
This year, it became the best selling song in America, surpassing Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things”.

As of 2024, “Tipsy” holds the record for being the number one single on Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks – making it the longest reigning chart-topper of that year.

In July, Shaboozey became the second Black artist after Beyoncé to dominate both Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts at once.
