Nigerian Senate approves N98.5bn FCT Supplementary Budget

Tuesday saw the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Supplementary Appropriations Bill, 2024, approved by the Senate with a total budget of N98.5 billion.
The Senate Committee on FCT’s report was discussed in plenary session before to the Bill’s approval.

Remember that the Senate had withdrawn the Bill last week, stating that more budgetary data were required.
On behalf of the Committee Chairman, Senator Bomai Mohammed (APC-Yobe South), who was not present at the plenary, Senator Osita Ngwu (PDP-Enugu West) delivered the report.
