The House Committee on Aviation Technology has committed to putting policies in place to lessen the number of aviation accidents in Nigeria.

At the committee’s first meeting on Thursday in Abuja, Rep. Abiodun Akinlade, the chairman, made the commitment.

He declared that the group would do everything within its power to lessen the nation’s frequent air crashes, expressing concern over them.

“To investigate the causes of the air crashes, we will arrange a high-tech town hall meeting with the assistance of the regulatory authorities, the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON).”

We’ll investigate any more safety irregularities at our airports. Everyone must be safe in our airspace,” he declared.

He pledged to live up to the standards set by stakeholders, Nigerians, and the House.

The legislator promised that the committee will collaborate with pertinent parties to guarantee that Nigeria establishes a highly inventive and successful aviation sector.
