Nigerian presidents don’t need to travel abroad for medical care – Aisha Buhari
The first lady revealed to State House reporters that she came up with the concept for the Wing six years ago.
Following the opening of the 21 billion naira Presidential Wing of the State House Medical Center, the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, believes that Nigerian presidents no longer need to travel overseas for medical care.
This was said by Mrs. Buhari when she attended the facility’s commissioning ceremony alongside President Muhammadu Buhari and other dignitaries at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The president’s wife revealed to State House reporters that she came up with the concept for the wing six years ago, following her husband’s prolonged absence for medical treatment.
She reassured that once the facility is up and running, Nigerian presidents and their families won’t need to travel abroad for medical care but instead will only be able to send medical professionals to help their colleagues at home.
