Nigerian President Tinubu Arrives in China

Nigerian President Tinubu has arrived in China to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss key issues with Chinese leaders.

Ahead of his state visit, President Bola Tinubu has arrived in the Republic of China.

At 19:12 China time on Sunday, the airplane designated for Tinubu’s presidential use touched down at Beijing’s Capital International Airport.

Tinubu embarked on an official visit to Beijing, China from Abuja on Thursday.

According to Ajuri Ngelale, the spokesperson for Tinubu, there will be a short stopover in UAE.

During his time in China, the President of Nigeria is scheduled to hold meetings with President Xi Jinping as well as prominent Chinese business figures.

Attending the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation was also part of his plan.

During the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, the president will have meetings with Chinese business leaders and also meet President Xi Jinping in China.

According to Ngelale, senior government officials will accompany President Tinubu on the trip.
