Muhammad Na’Allah, a Nigerian pilgrim from Gumi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, has displayed an admirable act of honesty by returning €1,750 that he found at the Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

He handed over the money to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) for it to be delivered to the rightful owner.

This is not the first time such integrity has been shown by Nigerian pilgrims, as Abba Limawa from Dutse Local Government Area of Jigawa State previously returned a significant amount of money consisting of 10,500 Russian Rubles, 800 Dollars, and 690 Saudi Riyals.

The chairman of NAHCON, Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi, praised Na’Allah for his act and highlighted how it reflects his name, which signifies his closeness to Allah. Arabi also commended Limawa for his honesty and for positively representing Nigeria to the international community.

Both instances demonstrate the positive impact that the pilgrimage has had on the character, behavior, and attitude of these individuals.
