Nigerian Idol judging panel now consists of Omawumi, Ric Hassani, and 9ice

Omawumi Megbele, Ric Hassani, and 9ice have been announced as the new judges for the upcoming season 9 of Nigerian Idol, replacing Simi, D’Banj, and Obi Asika.

This change was revealed by MultiChoice Nigeria, the organizers of the show, who also disclosed the kick-off dates for the ninth season.

Omawumi, known for her exceptional vocals and commanding stage presence, brings a wealth of experience to the judging panel.

Having previously served as both a judge and a contestant on Nigerian Idol, she leads the other two judges with her illustrious career spanning over a decade, providing valuable insights into the music industry.
