Through the Ministry of Justice, the Nigerian government has profiled 3,000 cases of terrorism.

Abubakar Malami (SAN), who is also the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, gave the fugue on Thursday.

President Muhammadu Buhari gave a speech at the 17th meeting of his Administration Scorecard Series.

The man said that 397 people had been found guilty in over 1,500 of the 3,000 terrorism cases that had been reported up to that point.

According to Malami, there have been 7,000 cases of maritime attacks, armed robberies, pipeline and equipment vandalism, financial crimes, cybercrime, kidnapping, and anti-corruption prosecutions.

The Federal High Court, the Legal Aid Council, and the Defense Headquarters are working with the ministry to plan the upcoming round of terrorism-related trials.

A framework for cooperative terrorism case investigations has also been devised by the AGF’s office in collaboration with pertinent security and law enforcement organisations.

Malami reaffirmed that he will continue to offer advice and direct the administration on criminal justice and other legal issues.
