The undergraduate support was raised from N10,000 to N20,000 while professional course and postgraduate support were increased from N20,000 to N30,000 by the governor alongside an increase in student bursaries.
Eno revealed a strategy to tackle unemployment by introducing an employment website operated by the Ministry of Labour in collaboration with his Senior Special Assistant on ICT.
Based on their qualifications and areas of specialization, job seekers will be matched with opportunities through this digital platform.
Furthermore, Eno has committed to providing monthly business grants of N50,000 to 5,000 young individuals with the objective of initiating small businesses or farms. “This grant is a unique chance for you to receive assistance as you anticipate formal employment,” he emphasized.
