Nigerian forward will be sold this summer by Belgian club Union Saint Gilloise
Nigerian forward Victor Boniface will depart Union Saint Gilloise this summer, according to club president Philippe Borman.
After moving from Norwegian club Bodo/Glimt for a pitiful €2 million last summer, Boniface has emerged as one of the top performers in the Belgian Pro League this year.
Throughout his 46 appearances across all competitions this season, the 22-year-old has 16 goals and 9 assists.
According to Borman, the striker has been mentioned in connection with a number of European clubs.
“Does Boniface have even a 1% chance of staying? However implausible it may seem, never say never. According to Borman, who was quoted by Belgian media, “I can no longer count the interested clubs who are concrete on two hands.”
It has been stated that Union Saint Gilloise wants to get about €20 million for Borman.
