Diligent Moet Abebe, a well-known media personality and actress from Nigerian cinema, asserted that online users, particularly those in Nigeria, dislike assertive women.
The internet dislikes aggressive women, according to Abebe, who has faced backlash for some of her statements on the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, which she co-hosts with reality personality Tolani Baj.
She made her remarks during a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria, Lagos, which was anchored by Tacha, the former reality star Natacha Akide.
“The internet in general, or let me say the internet in Nigeria,” Abebe remarked. It seems that women who are outspoken are disliked by the internet as a whole.
“The internet doesn’t like it as long as you are a woman coming out and saying this is what I like, this is what I don’t like, this is what I want, this is what I don’t want.”
“Exactly,” the host Tacha agreed with her.
