Nigerian crossdresser ‘Area Mama’ has been tragically murdered in Abuja, shocking the community.
The Banex, Wuse II area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT has reported the death of a renowned crossdresser who was commonly referred to as ‘Abuja Area Mama’.
According to reports from Obasanjonews.com, an unidentified individual who identifies as a crossdresser was discovered unconscious on Thursday morning along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway.
In a statement, Josephine Adeh – the spokesperson for FCT Police Command confirmed discovering a lifeless body and stated that CP Benneth Igweh has ordered an exhaustive and covert investigation to uncover the events leading up to this incident.

According to the Police spokesperson, officers from the Command promptly attended a distress call in the vicinity and swiftly transported an individual to Maitama District Hospital. The attending medical staff subsequently verified his passing.
