Nigerian actress explains why she is opposed to sending N#des to partners

Plus-size Nollywood actress Mary John has stated that she opposes sending one’s romantic partner nude images.

She revealed this to The Nation during a quick conversation.

“In my opinion, a man who cares about you will wait to see you, but each relationship is different.” I believe that while long-distance relationships can be draining, some insane lovers send naked pictures. “I vehemently oppose it,” she declared.

She replied, “Not much, but everyone has a role to play,” when asked if her plus size gives her more roles in Nollywood.

For instance, if the plot calls for a plus-size woman, I am that woman. However, the producer can choose the model if the script calls for a thin one. Being large-sized won’t matter if one is a competent actor, because the acting will take centre stage.

John said when asked if she thought slender women were more seductive than plus-sized ones: “It is not true because, if you check well, currently every lady wants to be heavy with large buttocks and a flat stomach flying around.” Additionally, each person has a unique characteristic.

John added that she has developed a work ethic and a desire to give each role her all.

“Because I work on the side, you might say that I have one leg in the industry and one leg out.” However, I have discovered that perseverance and giving every role my all will speak for me. I’ve also learned to move forward slowly.
