The Independent National Electoral Commission’s Lagos State Collation Center announced the results of the presidential election held on Saturday, showing that Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Party, APC, is ahead in seven of the eight local government areas.
However, Peter Obi of the Labour Party defeated the previous governor for the position of local government in Ikeja.
As INEC announced Tinubu as the victor in Ekiti, election results from certain states continued to trickle in.
