Niger Coup: The only remaining alternative is dialogue, not war – Tinubu, a cleric for ECOWAS

In order to prevent a military takeover and coup in the Niger Republic, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), headed by President Bola Tinubu, must continue to use dialogue.

The advise was given by Prophet Sam Olu Alo, Planter of the Christ Apostolic Church, Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide. He stated the matter needed to be handled carefully to make sure that violence was never even a possibility during the ongoing negotiations.

At Jesus City Camp in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, Olu-Alo gave a speech on the Sure Mercy of David Prophetic Sunday.

The monk who spoke out against the situation in Ukraine claimed that the conflict between the two countries and the destruction it has caused demonstrate how men, women, including expectant and nursing mothers, infants, and helpless young people, are constantly on the receiving end.

In his words, “Dialogue remains the solution because of the bitter experience of war where the innocent are always vulnerable,” no matter how long it takes for the military that has taken control of Niger and the ECOWAS to find a resolution.

The lack of rioting in Niger in response to the military intervention should serve as a warning to all other African governments and a reminder to everyone in authority about the type of intervention they are proposing to the fiasco.

The prophet begged President Tinubu to utilise his authority as the head of the ECOWAS mission to stop war from breaking out and stop the killing of innocent people in Niger, the president added.
