Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the director general of the World Trade Organisation, has been hailed by President Bola Tinubu as a deserving representative of Nigeria.
According to Tinubu, Okonjo-Iweala embodies the tenacity, dedication, and intelligence that Nigerians are renowned for.
As he was wishing the previous finance minister of Nigeria a happy 70th birthday, he said this.
The president celebrated this historic event with the extraordinary leader and her family, according to a statement released by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.

The former finance minister was praised by the president for her contributions to the country and work to create strong institutions.
According to the release, President Tinubu also expressed his gratitude to the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation for serving as a worthy representative of Nigeria and for demonstrating the tenacity, ingenuity, and intelligence that Nigerians are renowned for.
