Neymar Jr, the Al Hilal striker, has acknowledged that he faces moments of despair while recovering from a grave knee injury.

Since October, when he sustained injuries to his left knee’s anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus, the Brazilian striker has not been able to play.

Neymar provided an update on his progress towards recovery via a post shared on Instagram.

He stated that following his injury, he experiences challenging days where he feels like surrendering.

Navigating through all of this is difficult.

“But there’s a warrior who refuses to give up until I achieve my desires! God is the source of my strength and protection. We’ll persevere in battling every day.”

Since he signed a two-year agreement with the Saudi Pro League team in August 2023, Neymar has only competed five times for Al Hilal.
