Newborn baby found abandoned in Anambra forest saved by residents
Residents in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, have come to the rescue of a newborn baby who was abandoned in a forest.
According to a source, the concerned residents are currently rehabilitating the baby, who had likely been left in the forest for approximately two days before being discovered.
Fortunately, the baby is in stable condition and doing well.
A video circulating online further supports the report, showing local midwives cleansing the baby while expressing their condemnation towards those who abandoned the child.

The women in the video, along with a male voice, expressed their disbelief that someone could carry a baby for nine months only to discard them.
