After being evacuated by the Federal Government from the war-torn Sudan, new 422 Nigerians landed in Abuja, the capital of the country.
According to Channels Television, there were 102 Nigerians on the Tarco Airlines, which went from Port Sudan, and 322 more on the Asman Air, which departed from Aswan, Egypt.

Returnees, according to information obtained, flew out of Port Sudan International Airport on Sunday at around 5:25 am and arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 12:40 pm.
The total number of Nigerians arriving in Abuja on Sunday from the war-torn Sudan was over 800.
Max Air, Azman, and Tarco Airlines all provided the airlift for them.
Officials from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), as well as security personnel, are waiting to welcome them at the airport.
