3,988.74 kilogrammes of various substances with a street value of N80 million have been confiscated by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) FCT command.
This information was provided in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja by the FCT commander, Commander of Narcotics, (CN), Mr. Kabir Tsakuwa.
Tsakuwa, however, said that 134 suspected drug users, dealers, and traffickers were also detained over the same time frame.
Cannabis sativa, cocaine, methamphetamine, tramadol, rohypnol, and diazepam were among the other drugs he listed.
Cannabis sativa was the main substance confiscated by NDLEA agents, he continued, adding that numerous defendants were tried and found guilty during the same time frame.

He claims that within the same time period, 3,861.789kg of cannabis sativa was seized, while 0.038kg of cocaine was reportedly apprehended.
Other substances include diazepam, which weighs 13.63 kg, tramadol, which weighs 105.136 kg, methamphetamine, which weighs 3.024 kg, ecstasy, which weighs 0.009 kg, and pentazocine, which weighs 1.070 kg.
“134 suspected drug users and traffickers, including 128 men and 6 women, were detained in the third quarter.
The entire street value of the substances found during that time was about N80 million.
He stated that out of the 104 individuals that were prosecuted, 27 were found guilty.
