Aaron Tebbutt, a football analyst, urged Wilfred Ndidi against thinking about moving to Barcelona.
The LaLiga champions have been linked with a summer transfer for Ndidi.
His contract at King Power Stadium, which he signed when he was 26 years old, is nearing its conclusion.
Beginning in January, the midfielder can start negotiations with a foreign team.
Ndidi was considering moving to Barcelona, but Tebbutt pushed him to stay with Leicester City longer.

He stated on Football League World that if Ndidi has a successful season, his club will have no choice but to extend his contract before he leaves on a free transfer.
If so, the 26-year-old should undoubtedly sign a contract because it seems more and more likely that Leicester will be making a comeback to the Premier League next season.
“Rejecting a team with as much history as Barcelona would be a very difficult choice, but in the end, Ndidi should enjoy a promotion campaign to the Premier League and then continue life in the top division at the King Power Stadium.”
