NDDC commits to assisting military in maintaining peace in Niger Delta region

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has expressed its commitment to assisting the military, particularly the Nigerian Navy, in maintaining peace in the Niger Delta region.

During a visit to the NDDC headquarters in Port Harcourt, the Managing Director of NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku, emphasized the importance of collaboration to ensure a peaceful environment for development to thrive.

In a statement, Ogbuku acknowledged the significant contributions of the military in sustaining peace in the region and called for increased professionalism in addressing security challenges.

He also highlighted the directive from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to embark on legacy projects that would have a lasting impact on the lives of people in the Niger Delta.

The NDDC is committed to working closely with security agencies to achieve sustainable peace and support their efforts through the execution of development projects.
