England coach offers an update on Bukayo Saka’s injury ahead of the Nations League matches, detailing the winger’s recovery progress and his potential return to action.

England’s interim manager, Lee Carsley, has provided an update on Bukayo Saka’s injury.

Saka was injured during England’s 2-1 loss to Greece in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday.

The Arsenal star exited with a limp during the match at Wembley Stadium, shortly after the Three Lions conceded a goal and went 1-0 down.

Saka received medical attention before being substituted with Chelsea’s Noni Madueke.

Regarding Saka’s injury, Carsley mentioned, according to Fabrizio Romano: “He is currently being evaluated.”

“Clearly, leading up to the first goal, you could tell he sensed something in his leg.”
