The former Nigerian national anthem, “Nigeria, we hail thee,” has been reinstated. Popular comedian Efe Warri Boy has responded to this development.

The comic claims that Bola Tinubu’s administration is attempting to become a hero by the “backdoor,” as he has failed in his previous role as governor, by reintroducing the old national song.

He said as much in a recent video message that he posted on Instagram.

“President Bola Tinubu has been attempting to impress Nigerians, but it has not been successful for him,” he stated. Now he’s trying to change the National Anthem in an attempt to enter the country as a hero by a backdoor [laughs].

“To get guidance on governance, he ought to have approached Alex Otti, the governor of Abia State. Nothing about this regime is hidden from view. It is not possible to become a hero by using a backdoor. Demonstrate the mechanisms, please. You want the national anthem to be remembered as the one you changed.

Nigerians were entitled to better. The nation is experiencing more and more suffering. The president’s actions demonstrate his incompetence.
