Nasri believes Mbappe leaving PSG for Madrid is better choice

Samir Nasri, a former star for Arsenal, has recommended Kylian Mbappe to stay at Paris Saint-Germain longer by turning down a summer transfer to Real Madrid.

For many years, Mbappe has been associated with a move to Madrid.

When the France captain’s PSG contract ends in the summer of 2019, he will finally have the chance to finalise the transfer as a free agent.

The former France international Nasri, however, is in favour of Mbappe staying at PSG, stating that it is preferable for him to rule the Parisians than to move to Madrid and take home the UEFA Champions League.

In world football, indeed. Nasri told JDD via Le10Sport, “If he leaves, it will leave a hole, but with the budget, they will be able to recruit other players – who will not be Mbappe, that is clear.”

But now, he is so significant to his club and the French team together. I declared him to be the greatest player in the world more than two years ago. Still, I believe so.

As he is from the Paris area, I would want to remain at PSG rather than travel to Real Madrid in order to help Real win the Champions League for the fifth time.
