Napoli are furious over Victor Osimhen’s decision to turn down a transfer to Manchester United.

As reported by La Repubblica, Osimhen is committed to staying with the Turkish club Galatasaray for the entire season, despite interest from United.

The Nigerian international was loaned to Galatasaray from Napoli last September.

Napoli aimed to earn €81 million from his sale this month, thanks to the release clause included in his contract.

According to the publication, the forward has told Napoli director Giovanni Manna that he wishes to stay with Galatasaray until the season concludes.

The decision made by the 26-year-old has infuriated President Aurelio De Laurentiis, who viewed it as another instance of Osimhen attempting to complicate his situation with Napoli.
