Naira shortage: PDP introduced Emefiele; we’ll identify the people he’s collaborating with – El-Rufai
In the midst of the controversy surrounding the naira’s scarcity, Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai said that Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, is not an APC member.
El-Rufai claimed that Emefiele was chosen governor of CBN by the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP.
The governor responded to the currency issue happening in Nigeria in an interview with BBC Hausa.
The name of individuals assisting Emefiele would be made public at the appropriate moment, according to El-Rufai.
El-Rufai stated: “You saw Godwin Emefiele, the PDP brought him and the other individuals who are being persecuted, we know when the time comes, we will publish their names because they are not party members, they are blue-collar individuals.
“We would have made their identities known if we had chosen them.
These are those who want to overthrow the government because it provided them the chance and gave them more money than they needed to buy games.
