Naira Marley claims that Mohbad may have surrounded himself with cultists
The rapper Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, nicknamed Mohbad, may have surrounded himself with “a lot of cultists” given the suddenness of his passing, according to Naira Marley, also known as rapper Azeez Adeshina Fashola.
He claimed that although he and his record company, Marlian Music, were not involved in the bullying, he thought the late musician had been victimised.
Naira Marley stressed that he is not a cultist in an interview with Reno Omokri, adding that he has been combating cultists ever since moving to Nigeria from England in 2019.
The head of Marlian Music stated he hopes the police carry out a thorough inquiry to establish the truth while saying that individuals accusing him of being involved in Mohbad’s murder may be attempting to hide the genuine cause of his death.
He remarked, “I think he needed support more than he was stressed. He has been bullied, in my opinion. I think he had people all around him and people on his neck because he was in danger. It wasn’t from us, though. Nobody would come out doing any of them if he were in danger from me or if anyone is afraid of me. I have no faith in any kind of cult. In 2019, I travelled from England to Nigeria. I have no idea what a cult is. I’ve been eluding the cults in Nigeria by fleeing away. Actually, I’m opposed to cults. I object to it. They attempted to coerce me into it so many times, but thank God they never were able to.
“I do comprehend that he [Mohbad] may have surrounded himself with a lot of undesirable individuals, such as numerous cultists. I really hope the cops will find out a lot of stuff, dude, from what I can tell about how people are attempting to hide things, how they are transferring money [to Mohbad’s family] and from their experience with what has transpired around them.
