Naira is appreciative at the I&E window

In Thursday’s trade at the Investors and Exporters window, the naira appreciated versus the dollar, reaching N736.62.

Compared to the N771.59 it was worth on Wednesday when it was converted to dollars, the local currency increased by 4.53%.

On Thursday, the open indicative rate reached a low of N774.74 per $1.

Prior to its final settlement of N736.62 during the day’s trading, the spot exchange rate reached a high of N799.90 to the dollar.

Within the day’s trade, the naira fell to a low of 700 to the dollar.

The Thursday investors and exporters window saw transactions at a total of 66.43 million dollars.
