The Nigerian Air Force’s Special Forces have accomplished the elimination of Mustapha Abdullahi, a notorious bandit leader, and five of his followers in Igabi Local Government Area within Kaduna State.

AVM Gabkwet revealed that the intelligence gathered indicated a potential terrorist plot to abduct, harm or slaughter innocent civilians. This prompted the dispatch of a specialized Special Forces unit from NAF’s 413 Force Protection Group to the location.

Gabkwet explained that as soon as the Special Forces stumbled upon the terrorists who were moving on motorcycles, they were confronted with bullets fired by them. Nevertheless, through their skilled superiority in firepower and relentless efforts, all six attackers were successfully subdued and annihilated by the troops.

As a result of the operation, various weapons and items were seized such as five dane guns, one sub-machine gun which was locally made along with live ammunition. Additionally some other possessions like charms, lighters, SIM cards and phone cases were also recovered.

AVM Gabkwet reiterated the continued dedication of NAF soldiers to eliminate unlawful behavior in Igabi, Birnin Gwari, and nearby regions.

Additionally, he praised the endeavors of the soldiers and motivated them to persist in safeguarding both individuals and possessions within the area.
