NAF jets successfully combat numerous Boko Haram militants in the Northeast
Two Nigerian Air Force Super Tukano jets are said to have done several airstrikes in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno State, killing a lot of Boko Haram terrorists.
The terrorists were defeated on December 27 after intelligence revealed that they had gathered at Mantari to hold special funeral prayers for the fighters and commanders killed in the airstrikes on December 21. Zagazola Makama, an expert in counterinsurgency and a security analyst in the Lake Chad area, gave this information.

The expert further mentioned that, according to intelligence reports, after the airstrikes, severely hurt soldiers were spotted attending to patients in an area 500 metres to the west of Mantari.
Military sources also said that some Boko Haram militants died during recent military operations in Shehutari, Bama Local Government Area of Borno State, as part of Operation Hadin Kai.
Even though they were hurt, the remaining terrorists were seen running for cover in different directions through the thick vegetation.
